Cone Challenge #4

South City Sprint 1 Reversed

So, here it is, my fourth cone challenge. It's at South City Sprint 1 reversed and is, like the first city challenge, more difficult than the previous two challenges. On this layout I am using restricted areas on the wrong side of some of the gates. It helps me use less objects and makes the course a lot cleaner. If you get spectated then you went somewhere you shouldn't have been.

So, get yourself out there and get the feel for the layout.

I made a mistake in the results last week. I wrongly gave [SR] junksy / junkan 20pts for 3rd position, it should have been only 10pts. On paper I had 10pts but for some reason I typed in 20. The results above should be correct now. Please do check them for mistakes and if there are any I will adjust them as necessary.

So, here's the results of the second WWCC which was at Fern Bay Club reversed. A lot of peole liked this layout and once again Rudy van Buren got top spot, by almost a second. Two of his team mates managed to keep CR|troy out of the podium spots to make it a 1, 2, 3 for team [SR]. Well done lads.

WWCC Week 2 has just started...

Ok, so the second Weekly Weekend Cone Challenge, at Fern Bay Club reversed, has just begun on the Cone Challenge server.

I decided to run the challenge up until Sunday at 10pm now, as I know a lot of leagues run at around the 6pm time. This will give people time incase they have to come and get themselves back into the top ten for some points!

I've been testing Airio on the server the last couple of days, and with the help of EQ Worry we have come up with some new features, all I had were ideas, EQ did the business. Unfortunately I've been disconnected for so long this week I haven't had enough time online to get it running correctly. So I wont be using it over the weekend.

Anyway, if you think you can handle a RWD, come to the Cone Challenge server and see if you can make it into the top ten!

Ok, so, this week has been a bit messy with the server restarting, me testing/locking the server and then me being offline.

I have now a test Airio running on the server. EQ Worry has done an amazing job and has given me permission to run 2.3.3 as a test. For now I'm running Airio from my machine until it's ready to go.

Anyway, if you'd like to take a few runs and see what you think of the server with Airio running things then the password is: kanerx

There are some problems with 500servers cpanel so I can't change anything there, for the moment.

The WWCC will run tomorrow as usual, I'm sure everything will go ok.

Also, I've attached the other leaderboard for this week, yeah it's messy I know, but hey, it can only get better! The replay I took this from was dated 11/08/09. I did try upload the replay but it's 2hrs long(7MB), too large to upload, sorry.



I will be afk for a while, so I can't answer any questions just yet.

Yeah, some problems with cpanel here too.

"Could not connect to the master monitor." - When I click Game Servers I get that message.

...and...

"Object reference not set to an instance of an object." - When I try create a support ticket.

Because, when I found out about the restart, I went back to my replay folder and got the last replay before the restart, screenshot the leaderboard and there you see it.

I'll tell you now, some time after the retsart, when I was on, someone got a 50.xx. I'm a bit busy now but I will be posting that leaderboard. He got it in the LX4 too.

Ahh, broadband issues, been offline today and yesterday, couldn't get anything done. Should be ok for Friday, as long as I have a connection!

Server is passworded, just doing some testing with Airio on Server.

Ok, so I don't know what happen the server but the leaderboard got reset somehow. Luckily I auto save replays when I'm on so I can post the leaderboard from before the reset.

Did you complete 2 laps? If you did your name should be up there no matter what time you got. It shows top 32 but there was only 24 names when I took the screen shots, hmmm...
